We still don't know for sure, but the ultrasound tech said that she's leaning towards a girl. She couldn't see any 'boy parts' but we go back in four weeks just to be on the safe side. So, while I'm not shopping for anything pink just yet, I'm starting to think of what it will be like raising a little girl. I just kept thinking in my head that this baby was a boy. Of course, it could still turn out to be a boy, but measuring at 20 weeks and 2 days I think the tech would be able to see something by now.
So, for now, I will call it a she. Her heartbeat was beating 155 beats per minute and she's just perfect. They pointed out all of her features like the arms, legs, feet and hands. In this picture you can see her eyes and little round belly. It's just amazing and makes me so anxious for January to hurry up and get here!

Man! Nothing like making you wait yet another month! In our pregnancies, they've always been sure it's a girl...not so much for lack of boy parts, but because they could clearly see the girl parts, so it may be that it is a boy, just not developed much yet. Then again, she could be a girl! How nerve wracking...I'm sorry! But it's just all so exciting. I'm feeling lots of fun pains tonight and wondering if Melody is going to wait another few weeks to get here. As the weeks tick by, your anxiety will heighten, that's for sure! Have fun shopping!
Soooo cute Congrats!!!!
I want to shop soooo bad, but it looks like I'm holding off another month. I'm starting to really want to work on the nursery, but I didn't plan on a nuetral theme so I have to wait until next month to even pick out some paint! I keep telling myself that another 4 weeks is nothing, but my goodness it's hard to wait! I don't know how people can hold of not knowing for the whole 9 months!
4 weeks becomes everything when you're prego! It gets really hard. Then all the stupid questions come. "Are you STILL pregnant?" "When are you due again?" (For the 500th time by the same person) "Have you tried eating chinese food, going on a long car ride, having sex, drinking olive oil?", the list goes on and on.
Oh dang! It's so exciting to know! Tell them they better tell the next one!!! Ha ha!
